How do I avoid getting numb to repeated prompts?

After a while I stop noticing the prompts. What settings help you stay responsive?

Rotate between random and structured intervals, and keep prompts concrete. Specific cues are harder to ignore.

A periodic reset helps too. Pause the timer for a day, then restart with new messages and a different cadence.
